Sail Sunkiss is blessed to operate amongst the pure and stunning coastlines of Northern New Zealand. This is where we live, work and play. It’s a beautiful place, and we work hard to keep it that way for decades to come. CARBON FOOTPRINT REDUCTION

As a sailing business we use sun and wind to generate our power significantly. We own and operate our business amongst a native forest in Northland asisting to offset our business carbon footprint

MARINE LIFE AND THE ENVIRONMENT

Sail Sunkiss are a licensed commercial operator and as such are required by law to protect the environment – we take this responsibility very seriously

WASTE MANAGEMENT AND RECYCLING

Sailsunkiss , work diligently to reduce, recycle and reuse beginning with separate plastics, glass, and paper. Our staff make a conscious effort to recycle whatever they can, always collecting beach litter. We encourage our customers to support us here as well.

GIVING BACK TO OUR COMMUNITY

Sail Sunkiss believe strongly in supporting our local community and welcome any opportunity to be involved.

Some ways we give back to the community include donating prize sponsorships. A couple we have contributed to in the last 12 months include:

Donating a family cruise to Mathematics for a lifetime fundraiser
Corporate Sponsor of Project Island Song.

We continue to look for ways to improve Sail Sunkiss’s impact on the environment. In addition to the actions above, we continue to work to reduce our utility and consumables, especially those that enter the environment, such as cleaners.
